About Indy
Hey! I understand the frustration of not being able to grasp a particular topic when learning something new. This is where I come in as your tutor. I absolutely love teaching particular concepts to students and seeing the look on their face when they begin to understand said topic. I am very passionate about teaching Maths and English and I'm extremely dedicated to making sure you not only understand what you're learning but also to enjoy it as well.
Teaching English at Milner College in Perth has given me the opportunity to inspire many students learning the language for the first time and I wholeheartedly believe you will feel the same way whether you wish to have help with Maths or English.

I like to keep my 60 minute lessons heavily student-centred. I find that by using this strategy, students are more easily able to understand what they are learning and they will feel a greater satisfaction when learning.
My role as a Maths and English tutor is to elicit the information that the student already subconsciously possesses and get the student to apply that knowledge across a variety of different questions. This is an approach that is particularly important when teaching English to individuals.
Students come to me with the questions and topics they are struggling with and I help them with those, rather than choosing a topic myself that the student may not even want to focus on. I am willing to be flexible regarding the length of the lesson, if a particular student doesn't have time for 60 minutes.
