About Danyal

I’m a Dentistry student at Barts and The London with a strong focus on helping students secure competitive Medicine and Dentistry offers through strategic application support and high-level interview preparation.

With 3+ years of experience mentoring aspiring medics and dentists, I’ve developed a structured, results-driven approach centred around three core pillars: clarity of thought, strategic answer structure, and confident delivery. Having achieved a UCAT score in the Top 30%, I understand first-hand the standards required to stand out in a highly competitive admissions process.

I specialise primarily in MMI and panel interview preparation, alongside in-depth personal statement refinement. My goal is not just to “practice questions,” but to train students to think critically, structure answers effectively, and communicate with clarity under pressure.

Every student begins with a detailed assessment of their strengths, weaknesses, and university choices. From there, I create a personalised preparation plan targeting key areas for improvement, ensuring measurable progress and confident performance on interview day.

⸻

Why Choose Me?

• Specialist Interview Preparation
Focused training in MMI and panel interviews, covering ethics, NHS values, communication skills, and scenario-based reasoning.

• Personalised & Strategic Approach
Every session is tailored to the individual — no generic scripts or recycled answers.

• Realistic Mock Practice & Detailed Feedback
I provide honest, constructive feedback that refines structure, depth, and delivery.

• Personal Statement Excellence
Helping you demonstrate insight, reflection, and genuine motivation — not just experiences.

• Confidence & Performance Training
I coach students to think clearly under pressure, structure answers naturally, and present themselves professionally.

• Support Beyond the Lesson
Structured homework, reflection tasks, and ongoing guidance to ensure consistent improvement between sessions.

⸻

I aim to equip students with the strategy, mindset, and communication skills needed not only to secure offers — but to enter Medicine or Dentistry with confidence and clarity.

Ready to take your application to the next level? Let’s get started.

About the lesson

Reach out today to book your free 30-minute introductory session and take the first step towards securing your Medicine or Dentistry offer.

I am a DBS-verified Dentistry student at Barts with 3+ years of interview preparation experience, delivering high-quality online sessions (via Zoom). Lessons are typically held once a week for 1–2 hours, depending on your goals and timeline, and are fully tailored to each student.

⸻

My Structured & Results-Focused Approach

To maximise progress, I create a personalised preparation plan for every student. Whether you’re working towards interviews, refining your personal statement, or strengthening application strategy, each session is designed to be structured, efficient, and goal-oriented.

⸻

How My Lessons Are Designed for Maximum Impact

• Initial Strategy Planning
We begin by identifying your strengths, weaknesses, and target universities, creating a clear roadmap for success.

• Mock Interview Practice & Detailed Feedback
Every session includes realistic MMI and panel-style practice, followed by in-depth, constructive feedback to refine structure, content, and delivery.

• Personal Statement Refinement
Focused review to strengthen clarity, reflection, and depth — ensuring your experiences demonstrate insight, not just participation.

• Targeted Skill Development
We break down core themes such as ethical scenarios, NHS values, communication skills, and critical thinking to build confident, well-structured responses.

• Adaptive Teaching Style
I tailor my approach to your learning style — whether you need confidence building, answer structuring, or high-level polishing to stand out among top applicants.

I worked with Danyal for interview prep and he was brilliant. What I loved most was that he completely tailors each lesson to what you need, you're basically in control of what gets covered, which made every session super useful for me.
He's also really responsive and gets back to messages quickly, which was great when I had questions between sessions.
One thing that really helped was when we did mock interviews together. His feedback was spot on and actually boosted my confidence going into the real thing.

My confidence and ability to answer questions has greatly improved since.
