About Eri
Hello, my name is Eri. I am from Tokyo.
I have taught students from 8 to 74 years old, so I am comfortable working with learners of all ages and backgrounds.
I have experience working at a Japanese language school in Sri Lanka, where I supported students in their learning.
I also worked in university administration and as a childcare professional. I enjoy supporting people’s growth and find it very rewarding to help students improve step by step.
I enjoy learning new things and different cultures, and I love traveling. I have visited more than 40 countries, which helps me understand people from diverse backgrounds and create a relaxed and friendly learning environment.

I have been working in education in Japan for the past 12 years. Eri and I have been friends since our university days, and watching her teach always gives me confidence in her students’ success.
One of her greatest strengths is her ability to patiently support students whenever they struggle with something they don’t understand. She also notices even the smallest achievements and offers genuine praise, which helps students stay motivated and build confidence in themselves.
Her dedication and positive approach inspire not only her students but also those around her. Seeing the way she works has made me want to bring the same level of care and encouragement to my own profession.Eri’s life has always been about embracing new challenges. Through her positive attitude and dedication, she achieved her dream of becoming a teacher.
As a passionate educator, she constantly strives to deliver the best possible lessons, and I am confident she will guide Japanese learners toward success.
Her supportive and encouraging approach creates a safe environment where students feel inspired to try new things without fearing mistakes.
I highly recommend her lessons!View more recommendations
