"Having spent 5 years working with intermediate learners and TOEFL candidates, I have seen exactly where the road gets bumpy for non-native speakers. Teaching English to newcomers while being raised in Montreal has given me a deep appreciation for the effort language acquisition requires. I focus on practical skills like email and letter writing, interview preparation, and accent softening. Working with 113 students has taught me that everyone learns differently, so I prioritize clear, direct communication during our time together.
I love helping women in corporate roles find their voice in a second language. Dealing with phrasal verbs or reading comprehension can feel dry, but I try to keep our interactions light and engaging. It is genuinely enjoyable to watch someone gain the ability to express their true personality in English."
