About Eva

Hello! I’m Eva, a dedicated and passionate tutor currently studying biology at UC Berkeley. With a perfect 800 score on the SAT Math section and a 104% grade in Precalculus 11 & 12, I bring both strong academic credentials and real-world experience to every lesson. I understand how challenging math can feel, and I’m committed to making it accessible and enjoyable. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and raise their grades, often turning frustration into confidence. My teaching approach is patient, clear, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. As someone who values education DEEPLY, I strive not only to help students achieve high scores but also to develop a genuine appreciation for math. Whether you are preparing for exams, trying to catch up in class, or aiming to excel, I am here to support you every step of the way with professionalism and care.

About the lesson

I focus on building strong conceptual understanding and boosting confidence in math. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s needs and learning pace.

To reinforce learning, I assign relevant exercises and provide detailed feedback. I also share useful strategies for standardized tests like the SAT, helping students tackle problems more efficiently.

I bring a unique combination of academic excellence (perfect 800 SAT math score, 104% in Precalculus 12) and a deep understanding of student challenges because I’ve personally helped peers improve their grades dramatically. As a current Berkeley bio student, I’m committed to high standards and continuous learning, which I pass on to my students.

My lessons are perfect for middle and high school students, especially those preparing for standardized tests (SAT Math), taking precalculus, algebra, or foundational math classes, or anyone needing tailored help to improve their grades and confidence. Whether you’re struggling to keep up or aiming for top marks, I adapt lessons to your goals.
