About Patrick
I’ve been involved with music since the age of six while studying classical music and performing in various venues such as The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall and Strathmore Mansion. At age 13, I began to learn hit songs by ear that I heard on Pandora Radio. This led to my wide range of repertoire that included pop, funk, blues, jazz, r&b, hip-hop, gospel, neo-soul, and more. After my fifth live audition at Berklee College of Music, I received a $21,000 scholarship to attend. I graduated Magna Cum Laude and studied piano while majoring in Electronic Production & Design; along with taking music business, entrepreneurship, songwriting, and music education courses. My passions now lie in sound design, music production, and teaching.

My remote lessons are conducted using Muse (a video conferencing app built for musicians). I also use Chordie to display the notes I am pressing playing in realtime and it shows the keyboard display + staff notation.
I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Electronic Production & Design while studying piano. I can teach their theory and ear training cirriculums and have helped students audition (both accompanying them and preparing them).
I can teach piano (jazz, classical, contemporary, rnb, pop) , guitar, music theory, and music production & engineering. Most of my time now is spent working directly with artists and composing songs from scratch with them, then going through the entire music production process including mixing, mastering, vocal tuning, etc. Often times, I also teach the artists I work with how to play their own songs on an instrument of their choice, usually piano or guitar so they can accompany themselves.
I like to teach students music that they're passionate about so I often ask what they're listening to and do a critical listening session with them and break down they're favorite songs, while teaching them the theory and fundamental aspects of these songs.
