Hire Liby as your art tutor! I've always wanted to be a mangaka and create my own One Piece but I was never good at drawing and the art teachers at school couldn't help me, so I kinda just decided I'd never be good at art. But then my parents got me some sessions with Liby for my birthday and I literally can't believe how much they helped me.

Liby's lessons taught me ways to look at drawing that I've never thought about before. You can tell they went to like the best art school in the world, they're literally galaxy brain about art. They were really good at explaining the really tricky stuff and made their lessons specific to me and what I wanted to draw.

After working with Liby, my drawings are better than ever. I'm having all new awesome ideas for my first manga (no spoilers) and I finally feel like I can draw the picture I see in my head. Thanks Liby!

We are just so glad we found Liby. Our son’s been having a tough time making the transition to middle school, and we’ve been seeing him withdraw at home. I couldn’t get him off of Roblox. My husband and I didn’t know what to do as he’s a smart kid and we were seeing his grades slip.

On the recommendation of a friend we sought out Liby as a tutor and the change has been phenomenal, and such arelief. No more Roblox, no more phone. He’s spending his free time plugging away at Liby’s drawing and painting assignments. He’s more able to focus on his schoolwork (the effect of slow, careful work on his ADHD has been just — WOW!) and even Grandma’s noticed how he’s coming back out of his shell.

We had no idea he needed a way to express himself through art (my husband and I are both lawyers) — and he never seemed particularly excited about his art classes in school. But he’s really been enjoying his classes with Liby. She’s attentive, a skilled draftsman trained at RISD, the foremost art school, and flexible with our busy work schedules. He’s been improving his discipline, technical skills, creativity — and even teaching us about the local contemporary art scene, which has been really fun.

He’s recently leveled up to painting (which costs a small fortune, be forewarned) and we are just so proud. Even we can tell his skills are improving so quickly under Liby’s tutelage, and we just love the new art we have up all over the house from her wild, fun assignments. Most importantly, we have seen our kid start to shine with Liby’s mentorship, and for that we can’t recommend her highly enough — she is well worth the investment.

Taking Liby’s drawing class has been one of the best creative experiences I’ve had. She creates a welcoming and encouraging environment where students of all levels feel comfortable exploring their skills. Her teaching style balances structure and freedom — she gives clear guidance on technique and fundamentals, but also pushes you to experiment and develop your own style.

I’ve noticed huge improvements in my confidence and technical ability since starting her class. Beyond that, the sessions are genuinely fun — Liby fosters a community where students can share their work, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.

I would highly recommend Liby’s drawing class to anyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to refine your skills. It’s inspiring, challenging in the best way, and truly rewarding.

As a member of the Montclair community, I witnessed first hand the effectiveness of Liby's tutoring of children and teens. Skilled in the technical aspects of creating art such as drawing/ illustration, painting with oils, watercolor and acrylics, and Manga style comic design, she encouraged the students to use their own creativity and ideas.
