About Katherine
I am a bilingual and bicultural tutor with a degree in French Studies from the University of London in Paris. Passionate about the language and culture, having lived, studied and worked in Paris for 20 years, I believe in a holistic and practical approach to teaching and learning. The ability to think, read and communicate in another language is a privilege, a joy and a life skill which I am dedicated to sharing with others.

My lessons are tailored to the individual’s own experience and aims. Languages are living subjects and constantly evolving and it is therefore important to teach and learn with energy, versatility and a continuously up to date knowledge of both the language and the culture. A student should leave each lesson wanting to learn more and also keen to explore independently within the structure and support offered by the teacher.
