About Jack

Hello! I am Boumi Djokue Eddy Ange, and I am thrilled to welcome you to a learning space designed entirely around your academic success.

Stepping into a difficult subject can feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance, any academic challenge can be transformed into a rewarding victory. Here is why you can count on my professionalism, structure, and dedicated support to help you achieve your goals:

Deeply Rooted in Professionalism & Experience

Education is not just a sideline for me; it is a field to which I have dedicated years of structured, professional service.

Proven Classroom Success:I spent four years as an educator at *La Citadelle*, progressing from an interim role to a full-time teacher. This experience gave me a deep understanding of curriculum development, classroom management, and the patience required to guide students through diverse learning paces.

*University-Level Mentorship:* My teaching journey also includes serving as an academic tutor for undergraduate students during my time at university. I know exactly what foundational skills a student needs today to excel in higher education tomorrow High-Level Academic Legitimacy

When you work with me, you are learning from someone with a rigorous, verified technical background:

Engineering Precision: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, which sharpens my problem-solving skills and allows me to bring real-world, practical applications to abstract theories.

Scientific Mastery: My academic journey is backed by a solid scientific DEP background, specializing deeply in Advanced Mathematics (*Further Maths*), Physics, and Biology.

Seamless Bilingual Adaptability

In today’s academic world, flexibility is key. I am perfectly bilingual and hold an official language diploma in both French and English. Whether you are studying in your native language or navigating a bilingual immersion program, I can seamlessly pivot between languages to ensure that a language barrier never stands in the way of your scientific understanding.

My Promise to You: A Supportive, Friendly Environment

I believe that the best learning happens when a student feels safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace. My teaching approach is highly structured, impeccably organized, and always delivered with encouragement and warmth.

No matter where you are starting from, we will build your confidence, master the material, and unlock your true potential together. I look forward to working with you!

1. Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, active participation, and building confidence. Because I have taught both primary school children and university undergraduates, I adapt my style to the student's exact learning pace:

The Concrete-to-Abstract Approach: Especially for complex subjects like Advanced Mathematics or Physics, I never start with dry formulas. I use real-world engineering examples (like structural balance or practical logic) to make abstract theories visible and easy to grasp.

Active Recall & Problem-Solving: I don't just lecture. I guide students through problems step-by-step, asking strategic questions so they discover the solution themselves, ensuring deep cognitive retention.

Continuous Feedback Loop: I celebrate small wins to build confidence while gently correcting mistakes immediately, ensuring gaps in foundational knowledge are filled before moving forward.

2. A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
A structured lesson ensures time is used efficiently and stress is minimized:

00 — 10 mins | Review & Warm-up: A quick check-in on the previous lesson's concepts or homework. We tackle any persistent doubts right away.

10 — 30 mins | Interactive Concept Delivery: Introduction of the day's new topic. I present the theory using clear visual aids, simple analogies, and dual-language explanations if needed.
PDF

30 — 50 mins | Guided & Independent Practice: We solve a problem together first, and then the student tackles a similar one independently while I observe and coach them.

50 — 60 mins | Summary & Action Plan: The student summarizes what they learned in their own words. I assign a brief, highly targeted practice task for the week.

3. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
Dual-Engineered Analytical Mind: Holding a degree in Civil Engineering and a strong scientific DEP background means I don't just know the curriculum—I understand how these sciences apply to the real world.

Perfect Bilingual Adaptability: Being fully bilingual allows me to seamlessly explain complex scientific concepts in both French and English, a major asset for students navigating immersion programs or changing academic environments.

Proven, Versatile Classroom Experience: Having transitioned from an interim role to a full-time teacher over a 4-year period at La Citadelle, I possess tested classroom management skills and pedagogical structures that casual tutors simply do not have.

4. Who the Lessons Are For
My diverse educational background allows me to offer targeted support across a wide spectrum:

Primary School Students: Academic support, homework help, and foundational mastery in Math, Biology, French, and English.
PDF

High School Students: Targeted exam preparation and deeper conceptual understanding in General Mathematics, Advanced/Further Mathematics, Physics, and Biology.
PDF

Undergraduate/CEGEP Students: Specialized tutoring for engineering or applied science students requiring assistance with foundational calculus, mechanics, or structural civil engineering principles.
