About Brianna
I am a second-generation Portuguese from Portugal with a strong bilingual background in European Portuguese and English. I bring cultural authenticity, professionalism, and patience to every lesson, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and speaking with confidence.
I take a structured yet flexible approach to teaching, adapting lessons to each student’s age, level, and goals. Whether a student is learning Portuguese for personal, cultural, academic, or professional reasons—or learning English as a Portuguese speaker—I focus on clear communication, proper pronunciation, and practical language skills that can be used immediately.
I am reliable, organized, and committed to helping each student progress at a steady and comfortable pace. I value clear explanations, consistency, and encouragement, ensuring that every lesson is both effective and enjoyable.
Students of all ages and levels are welcome, from complete beginners to heritage speakers and conversational learners.

My tutoring approach is practical, supportive, and focused on real communication. As a second-generation Portuguese from Portugal, I teach European Portuguese and English for Portuguese speakers, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals and level.
I use conversation practice, pronunciation work, clear grammar explanations, and real-life examples to build confidence and understanding. A typical lesson includes a brief review, new material, guided speaking or listening practice, and time for questions.
What sets me apart is my bilingual background and cultural understanding, allowing me to clearly explain language differences and support students in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Lessons are for all ages and levels, including beginners, heritage speakers, children, teens, and adults learning for school, travel, work, or personal use.
