About John
I grew up in a bilingual household, mastering both English and Spanish equally. This has given me a unique understanding of both languages. I’ve also studied grammar and vocabulary beyond what an average native speaker might know, giving me a strong foundation to teach effectively.

Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching method blends practical language use with formal grammar and structure. I incorporate interactive activities, real-life scenarios, and conversational practice, so my students experience the language as it is spoken, not just how it's written in textbooks. I focus on adapting my lessons to each student's unique learning style and goals, incorporating tools like multimedia, role-playing, and cultural references.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previously covered material, followed by an introduction to new topics like grammar rules or vocabulary. I then incorporate a mix of speaking, listening, and reading exercises, often involving real-life contexts or culturally relevant materials. Lessons end with practical conversation practice, and I assign short, targeted exercises to reinforce what was learned.
What Sets Me Apart:
What sets me apart is my real-world experience, having lived in Spanish-speaking countries for 8 years. This enables me to teach not just the standard language but also the nuances of regional slang and cultural differences. My lessons reflect the living language, making them relatable and practical for students aiming to use Spanish in various countries.
Who the Lessons Are For:
My lessons are designed for all levels—beginners looking to learn the basics, intermediate students wanting to improve fluency, or advanced learners aiming to master conversational skills, including regional slang. Whether you're a student, professional, or traveler, my lessons are tailored to meet your specific needs.
