About Sharon
Grammar books rarely capture the rhythm of a conversation properly. My path into language instruction started after completing an MA in Translation Studies from Kent State University, which forced me to reconcile the structural differences between Spanish and English.
With 9 years of experience, I now spend my days guiding students through Latin American and Castilian variants while building their vocabulary. Learning a language should involve more than just textbooks. I utilize travel Spanish, idioms, and role play to turn abstract concepts into usable dialogue.
Pronunciation and everyday phrases for beginners serve as the foundation of my work. I also assist with interview preparation to ensure high schoolers feel ready for their next big step.
