About Julia
I graduated from University of Puget Sound with a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Math. I worked for two semesters as a Biology Instructor Assistant teaching Cell Bio and Intro to Bio lab techniques as well as class subject matter to 15+ students at a time. I saw my students improve their skills and grow their confidence, and even convinced a few to switch to a bio-related major during my time as an IA.

I offer tutoring to any level of study, from early intro to bio in middle school through college-level courses, mainly focused on cell and molecular bio, genetics, or biochemistry at the college level. I like to approach teaching through asking questions to the student to guide them through understanding a concept. I am also very flexible in my teaching style and will adjust to fit individual students' needs.
