About Muhammad
I’m Muhammad, a Molecular Biotechnology graduate (with a minor in Business Administration) from Galala University in Egypt.
After graduating, I worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Galala University, where I supported biology lab sessions, tutorials and coursework for university students. This experience taught me how students learn best and where they usually struggle.
Alongside teaching, I lead research and development at a biotechnology startup that develops biomedical materials for wound care. I have co-authored research published by Elsevier and IEEE, and I have completed research training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China), ENEA Research Center (Italy), the CSIR (South Africa) and the University of Life Sciences in Timisoara (Romania).
My work has been recognized with First Place at Falling Walls Lab Cairo 2025 (DAAD), First Place at the Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Camp, and a European COST research grant.
I’m patient, organized and genuinely passionate about science. I take every student’s goals seriously, whether it’s passing an exam, raising a grade or finally understanding a difficult topic. I’m fluent in English and Arabic.

My teaching method: I believe biology should be understood, not memorized. I break every topic into small, clear steps, use simple real-life examples and diagrams, and keep checking that you’ve really understood before we move on. You’re always welcome to ask questions, and we can switch between English and Arabic whenever a concept needs extra explanation.
A typical lesson:
Quick review of the last lesson (5 minutes)
Clear explanation of the new topic with diagrams and examples
Practice with real exam questions or university-style problems
Feedback on your answers, focusing on the exact keywords examiners reward
A short summary and optional homework so you remember what you learned
What sets me apart: I’m a Molecular Biotechnology graduate and a former university Teaching Assistant, so I’ve both taught students and been one very recently. I also work in a biotech lab and have trained at research centers in China, Italy, Romania and South Africa, so I can show you how biology works in real life, not just in textbooks. This also makes me especially helpful with practical and “alternative to practical” exam questions.
