My approach as a tutor is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning style and needs. With 4 years of chemistry tutoring experience, I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations and using practice problems, real-life examples, and visual aids when helpful. A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material and identifying areas the student is struggling with, followed by an explanation of the key concepts, guided practice, and independent practice to make sure the student understands the material. What sets me apart is my ability to explain the same concept in different ways until it makes sense while creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I tutor middle school, high school, and college students taking General Chemistry I and II, as well as students who need help with topics such as stoichiometry, chemical reactions, solutions, acids and bases, Lewis structures, molecular polarity, bonding and exam preparation.
