About Anika
I am a formerly premed student currently majoring in Psychology. I took Clinical Rotations, and had a 3.4 GPA in the IB program in High School, and got 1500 score on the SAT. I also worked at a Brain Training facility to help students with learning disabilities, as well as other students help improve cognitions and form study habits.

I give lessons to science students Grade 8 and lower. I specialize in cell biology as well as plants and genetics. The way I structure my lessons is by looking at the student's syllabus to determine what topics they will be covering, and reviewing them before class time. We then go over basic principles that may be brought up in class, so that the in school lesson is essentially a review. After the in school lesson, I go over any other topics that the student may be having trouble with as well as possible areas to review before exams. However, if the student has specific vision for how they would like sessions to go, I work with them to achieve that.
The emphasis is preparedness and review, as well as discovering study habits that work for the student long term. The first session always begins with a discussion of goals, as well as strengths and weaknesses for evaluation.
