About Swarnayan
I am a life sciences scholar with formal training in biochemistry and molecular biology, having completed my M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University and my B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Presidency University.
My academic work has involved studying biological systems across multiple levels of organization — from molecular mechanisms and cellular processes to organismal physiology and ecological systems.
I have qualified several competitive national examinations in biological sciences, including CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, and DBT-JRF (BET), which reflect strong theoretical grounding in life science disciplines.
My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that biology becomes truly engaging when students understand why biological systems behave the way they do, rather than memorizing isolated facts.

Lessons for School Students
For secondary and higher-secondary students, the focus is on building clarity in fundamental biological concepts.
Lessons typically cover topics such as:
• cell biology
• genetics
• physiology
• plant and animal biology
• ecology
Students learn to approach biology through clear reasoning and visual understanding, which helps improve both comprehension and examination performance.
Preparation for Advanced Study
For students preparing to pursue life sciences, biotechnology, medicine, or biological research, lessons explore biology at a deeper conceptual level.
This includes:
• molecular and cellular biology
• biochemical pathways
• genetic regulation
• physiological mechanisms
The aim is to prepare students for the intellectual transition from school biology to university-level life sciences.
Support for University Students
I also work with undergraduate students seeking guidance in subjects such as:
• biochemistry
• molecular biology
• physiology
• microbiology
These sessions emphasize conceptual depth, scientific reasoning, and understanding biological mechanisms from a systems perspective.
Teaching Approach
My sessions focus on:
• conceptual clarity
• structured explanation of biological mechanisms
• diagram-based learning
• analytical discussion of biological processes
Lessons are tailored to each student's academic background, syllabus, and learning goals.

I have been learning both flute and classical singing from Swarnayan, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. He teaches with great patience and clarity, making even complex techniques feel approachable. His knowledge of both instruments and classical vocal music is impressive, and his passion for music really motivates you to keep improving. Thanks to him, I have grown so much as a musician. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn!
Swarnayan is a thoughtful teacher who understands how to guide students at different levels. His classes make classical music accessible and enjoyable.
Learning bansuri from Swarnayan has deepened my appreciation of Hindustani classical music. His knowledge of ragas and phrasing is impressive.
My child has been learning vocal music with Swarnayan and we are very happy with the progress. He is encouraging while maintaining discipline in practice.
Sir explains difficult biology topics in a very simple and logical way. Diagrams, mechanisms and processes finally started making sense to me. His lessons helped me gain much more confidence before my exams.
