About Elsie
"Stacks of lecture notes and dense textbooks often clutter a desk. I rely on 6 years of experience to simplify these vast amounts of information for my students. Biology requires a blend of conceptual understanding and precise data analysis.
My BSc in Biomed provides the heavy lifting behind my teaching style. I have assisted 106 students in mastering topics from photosynthesis to DNA structure.

"Starting a lesson usually involves discarding the confusion that students bring from previous attempts. Most people think memorization is the key to biology.
It is not. My degree from University of Sydney emphasizes the scientific method and rigorous analysis.
We examine mitosis, meiosis, and metabolism through real-world applications. IB Biology students and pre-med students find this approach clears the fog. Concept maps shared after each lesson serve as our record of progress. Learning is a process I value deeply."
