About Sierra
I am patient, reliable, and highly organized, and I take pride in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. I understand that science courses can feel overwhelming, so I focus on building confidence, encouraging questions, and helping students develop effective study habits alongside subject mastery. My goal is not only to help students succeed in their current courses, but also to give them tools that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
I have several years of tutoring experience at both high school and college level.

I am a Biomedical Science graduate with professional experience in regulated medical device engineering, microbiology, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. My lessons specialize in biology, microbiology, and related life-science courses, as well as STEM-related courses such as biochemical engineering, math and physics. I help students truly understand concepts instead of memorizing them.
My lessons are personalized, supportive, and goal-oriented. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with course material, completing lab reports, or working toward pre-med, pre-vet, nursing, or science career goals, I tailor each session to your learning style. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable pieces and connect them to real-world applications so the material actually sticks.
I focus on building strong foundations, improving study strategies, and increasing confidence. If you want a patient tutor who combines academic knowledge with real laboratory experience, I’d love to work with you.
