About Zaara
My name is Zaara, and I am a Biomedical Sciences undergraduate with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for education. I am committed to creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.
Throughout my studies, I have gained excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, allowing me to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging way. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, pace, and learning style.
I take pride in being organised, reliable, and professional in every lesson. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to foster curiosity, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning. Whether a student is preparing for the 11+, catching up on schoolwork, or aiming to excel in Maths, English, or Science, I strive to make every session productive, enjoyable, and rewarding.

Hi, I'm Zaara, a Biomedical Sciences undergraduate with a passion for helping students develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I offer tutoring in Maths, English, and Science for Primary, KS1, KS2, KS3, and 11+ students. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they require support with schoolwork, exam preparation, or simply want to strengthen their understanding of core concepts.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit their learning style. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use plenty of examples, practice questions, and regular recap activities to reinforce learning. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently, helping them build both confidence and problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although lesson lengths can be adjusted to suit the student's age and requirements. Each session is structured with a clear learning objective, guided explanations, worked examples, independent practice, and feedback to ensure steady progress.
As a Biomedical Sciences undergraduate, I have developed strong analytical, mathematical, and scientific skills, alongside excellent communication abilities. My academic background enables me to explain concepts clearly and effectively while creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy the learning process and reach their full potential.
