About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m currently a second-year medical student and am also completing a Master’s in Medical Education. My studies have given me a strong background in Chemistry and the wider medical sciences, alongside a particular interest in how students learn and how complex information can be taught effectively.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I understand that Chemistry can sometimes feel difficult, particularly when calculations and unfamiliar concepts begin to build up. I enjoy making challenging topics easier to understand and helping students gain confidence in their own abilities.
I aim to provide a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working at their own pace. I want students to leave each lesson feeling that Chemistry is more manageable and that they are making genuine progress towards their Leaving Certificate goals.

I offer personalized Leaving Certificate Chemistry grinds designed around each student’s individual strengths and areas for improvement. As a second-year medical student currently completing a Master’s in Medical Education, I combine a strong scientific background with evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and focus on breaking difficult Chemistry concepts and calculations into clear, manageable steps. We will work through key theory, calculations, chemical equations, experiments and exam-style questions, with particular attention to areas the student finds challenging.
I place a strong emphasis on exam technique and helping students understand how to approach questions effectively rather than simply memorizing information. Lessons suit 5th and 6th Year students studying Leaving Certificate Chemistry at Higher or Ordinary Level, whether they want to improve their grade, strengthen particular topics, or build confidence before exams.
