About Russell

I am experienced with teaching children and adults alike, with different learning styles and speeds.
Origami is an art form that cultivates the inner world, and is perfect for fostering patience, focus, visual and kinaesthetic memory as well as developing fine motor skills.
A piece of origami can really bring a smile to someone's face, bring a sense of accomplishment, add a flourish to your work, or make you that much more memorable to a prospective employer...

About the lesson

I assess a student's experience and skill level, and use their own interests to aid them in learning a new form. Everyone's learning style is different, but anyone can learn to master the paper.
I encourage practice at home, as the basic skills are invaluable in other areas of life.
I provide course materials, paper and reference pages.

More advanced students will require more in-depth learning to master difficult techniques, so advanced classes need to be two hours instead of one.
