About Melissa
I’m Melissa Morgan, a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, coach, and educator with a practical, down-to-earth approach to understanding hypnosis and the subconscious mind.
My background includes training in hypnotherapy, behavior change, grief and loss, and subconscious processes. I’m fascinated by why people think, feel, react, and behave the way they do—and what happens when we learn to intentionally work with those patterns.
Through Superprof, I offer private, one-on-one lessons for beginners, curious skeptics, and students who want hands-on instruction in hypnosis. Depending on your goals, we can explore how hypnosis works, inductions and deepening techniques, suggestibility, self-hypnosis, suggestion structure, subconscious communication, ideomotor responses, and practical hypnosis skills.
You don’t need previous experience. My teaching style is straightforward, conversational, and hands-on, with lessons built around what you actually want to learn.

Hypnosis is much easier to understand once you get past the myths, theatrics, and unnecessarily complicated explanations.
I’m a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with training in hypnotherapy, NLP, behavior change, and subconscious processes. My lessons combine the theory behind hypnosis with practical, hands-on instruction so you understand not only what to do, but why it works.
Lessons can be tailored to your experience and interests, including hypnosis fundamentals, suggestibility, inductions and deepeners, progressive relaxation, Elman-style techniques, confusion and overload methods, fractionation, ideomotor responses, anchoring, suggestion structure, subconscious communication, self-hypnosis, and ethical considerations.
I’m particularly good at taking concepts that sound abstract or intimidating and turning them into techniques you can actually understand and practice.
Whether you’re completely new to hypnosis, studying hypnotherapy, curious about the subconscious mind, or looking to strengthen techniques you already use, we’ll start with what you know and build from there.
