About Kyla
My teaching approach for English focuses on communication, empathy, and creativity. I believe that building a strong connection with my students is essential for effective learning. I encourage open dialogue, allowing students to express their thoughts and questions freely.
In each lesson, I incorporate problem-solving activities that help students think critically about texts, whether it's analyzing literature, improving writing skills, or preparing for exams. I use real-life examples and engaging materials to make learning relevant and enjoyable.
Flexibility is key in my tutoring style. I adapt my methods to fit each student's unique needs and learning pace, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident. By fostering a supportive environment, I aim to empower students in reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and vocabulary, helping them achieve their academic goals while enjoying the process of learning English.

With 5 years of tutoring experience, I am dedicated to helping high school and college students master English. I have had the privilege of teaching around 150 students, guiding them to excel in their coursework, improve their writing, and boost their reading comprehension. My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, encouragement, and adaptability. I believe that every student learns in their own unique way, so I customize my approach to make each lesson engaging and effective.
One of my proudest achievements was helping a group of students improve their grades from passing to excelling within a semester by focusing on foundational skills and consistent practice. Whether it’s analyzing literature, crafting essays, or preparing for exams, I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed. My goal is to empower students with confidence in their abilities and provide them with the tools they need to thrive academically.
