About Santhous

As your dedicated tutor, my primary goal is to empower you to achieve your academic aspirations with unwavering confidence. With seven years of specialised experience across Mathematics, Economics, and German, ranging from Year 1 to university level, I bring a proven track record of guiding students to success. My robust academic background, including a BSc in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics, coupled with native German fluency, forms the bedrock of my expertise. I pride myself on a highly professional and tailored teaching methodology, leveraging interactive digital tools like the iPad and GoodNotes to ensure every lesson is clear, engaging, and precisely aligned with your learning objectives. You can be assured of a supportive, structured, and effective learning environment designed for your maximum progress.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is highly personalised and interactive. I utilise my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with GoodNotes, allowing for live, collaborative note-taking that students can access anytime. I focus on building core understanding first, then applying it to practical questions and exam scenarios. Lessons typically run for 1 hour, though I'm flexible to extend to 2 hours if needed, especially for exam preparation. With 7 years of experience, I tutor Maths, Economics, and German to students from Year 1 through to University level, catering to all exam boards. I tailor content to each student's unique learning style, whether it's mastering theory, improving exam technique, or building conversational fluency.

Santhous is an extremely reliable and understanding teacher. I undertook lessons with him for 2 years, and I cannot express the gratitude I have for his patience and hard work in helping me raise my grade in economics. He is organized and eager to help, and I felt comfortable asking for support in any area that I was struggling with. He was able to keep lessons both professional and fun, and I learned a lot as his student. I would recommend Santhous to any student who is looking for an excellent tutor; he is a brilliant choice.

Just wanted to share a fantastic find for anyone studying Economics at university. I’ve been working with Santhous, and he’s been an absolute game-changer, especially for understanding complex concepts in a way that just clicks.

What really sets him apart is his ability to break down challenging topics, which has been invaluable for both lectures and coursework. He also provided great support with my econometrics-based thesis using R programming, which was incredibly helpful. His deep understanding, stemming from his own Economics degree, is clear in every session.

The online setup with his iPad and GoodNotes makes the lessons really clear and interactive, perfect for going through models, data, or essay structures. If you’re looking to solidify your understanding, get help with assignments, or even tackle your thesis, I highly recommend reaching out to him!
