About Sandra
Hi, I’m a passionate math tutor and dancer who believes learning should feel natural, engaging, and even fun. My background in dance and science has shaped the way I approach teaching, helping me see patterns, flow, and structure in a creative way that translates directly into math.

Hi! I’m a math tutor with a twist—I don’t just teach numbers, I move through them. As a dancer, I’ve learned that rhythm, patterns, and timing aren’t just for music… they’re the same foundations that make math make sense.
Dance has trained my brain to see problems differently. Where others see formulas, I see flow. Where things feel complicated, I break them down into simple, repeatable steps, just like learning choreography. That creative mindset helps me turn “I don’t get it” into “Wait… this is actually easy!”
I specialize in making math feel less intimidating and more interactive, especially for students who think they’re “not math people.” Whether it’s algebra, basic math, or problem-solving strategies, I bring energy, patience, and a fresh perspective to every session.
And once you feel that rhythm… everything clicks.

I have known Sandra for almost 19 years now. We were classmates all through Secondary school (grade 6 - grade 12) and we went on to attend the same University. Sandra was always among the best student in class with exceptional strength in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. In addition, she enjoyed passing on that knowledge to anyone who needed it.
Sandra is an excellent teacher, she is friendly and she puts in the best in whatever she does. I am confident that she will do a great job and surpass every expectations.I have known Sandra for two years as a colleague at the University of Houston. She is a highly intelligent, soft-spoken and friendly lady with excellent zeal to achieve goals. I highly recommend her.
