About Betty
I have been tutoring for 28 Yrs. and I have loved that role I was honored to play.
I have tutored more students than I can count. They were each a unique individual and modifications needed to be made.
If I could get the students in my classes to be interested and involved. That was the first step. Then, this process filters down to other classes taken within their programs. The greatest thrill for a teacher is to watch one of my students walk across the stage and be handed their diploma. This is why I teach and tutor.

I had the opportunity and honor of helping teach, mentor, and guide undergraduate, master, and doctoral level students through good times, times of challenge and those special “ah-ha” moments when students were suddenly able to grasp what they could not before.
There are attributes I believe help me to be a good tutor/educator, these are:1) I respect each student; 2) I am warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring; 3) I set high but attainable goals, 4) I have a love of learning; and 5) I can adapt to better meet the needs of my students. The goal is to help students get the most out of every learning session. It is my steadfast commitment to being an exceptional educator, that propels me to always go above and beyond to make sure that happens.

Rates to meet in a neutral location are $45, Webcam is $40 because I can work from home. The first lesson is free but only half hour in length and packages save the buyer a 20% discount.
