I believe everyone has a different way of learning and so my lessons aim to explore concepts in as many ways as possible. Rather than trying to teach a basic understanding of a lot of concepts, I will try and teach a deep understanding of a few. I feel the depth in understanding allows students to fully utilise the concepts in a practical way.

Mat is super patient and very talented. It doesn't matter what level you're at, he will help you improve, even if you've never held a trumpet before. And i can guarantee you'll have fun while at it. overall an excellent teacher in my opinion.
Great musician and teacher, Matt's endless patience and dedication to success will give you your money's worth.
If you’re looking for a teacher with endless patience then look no further. Despite his humble manner, Matthew has a plethora of information developed through his years of trumpet study.
Matthew has had years of experience in the Brisbane music scene and has gauged his talents to be able to adapt to all sorts of genres of music and the different people he comes across. He is always prompt and straight forward when it comes to playing and doesn't stop until he has done his best work.
