About Mpho
Hello! My name is Mpho, and I am a dedicated private tutor with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. I specialize in helping primary and secondary students master Mathematics and build lasting academic confidence.
My approach to teaching is grounded in a very personal success story. When I first sat for my IGCSEs, I received an F in Mathematics. Rather than giving up, I used that failure as fuel to refine my study habits and mindset. I eventually supplemented that grade to a B, a journey that taught me exactly how to bridge the gap from "struggling" to "excelling."

I am Mpho, a Bachelor of Science graduate currently working as a professional private tutor. My journey with Mathematics hasn't always been easy, which is exactly why I am a great teacher. When I first sat for my IGCSEs, I received an F in Maths. However, through discipline and a change in strategy, I supplemented and improved that grade to a B. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the common hurdles students face and, more importantly, how to overcome them.
My Lessons
I specialize in helping primary and high school students bridge the gaps in their academic foundations. Because I have personally navigated the climb from failing to excelling, I don't just teach formulas. I teach the mindset and study habits needed to succeed. My approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on making complex concepts feel simple.
