About Shulka
I studied English for a while at Wits, I also received distinctions in English and Afrikaans at high school. I was an Au Pair for a time, so I know just how to help! I've tutored English, Biology, Accounting and Afrikaans.

I base my teaching on action. I learn best by doing and so I find it's so effective to explain a topic or a section, give the student an exercise that's tests various levels of knowledge, and take it from there! Explaining and demonstrating what needs to be done.
I firmly believe that you can only move on to the next challenge, not once you get something right - but when you can't get it wrong!
