About Heidi
I am a business and administration bachelor from Canada. Since English isn't my first language, I've taken classes to get certified as a teacher for English as a second language (TEFL) with a university in the United Kingdom. I work in the travelling industry and therefore, am best equipped to help you learn the idioms and expressions related to customer service and hotel management. I am also a professional diver which shows just how much I love to learn new things. I look forward to teaching you!

I like to first asses my students' strengths to understand how they like to learn. Some people are more visual, some learn best by talking, writing or listening.
I try to make my lesson plans agreeable by including as many different tasks as one needs to fully understand a concept or a grammar rule.
I believe in homework but prefer to make sure the student is confident enough in the skill to want to do it!
