About Tino Trevor
Hello, my name is Tino Trevor. An American Educated, British Citizen who is currently living in Brazil, where I teach Cambridge IGCSE Economics, Business Studies, Global Perspectives and English at a private international high school owned by Cognita. I’m passionate about meeting new people and learning about different cultures, which has inspired me to travel to more than 25 countries across four continents.

I am a multidisciplinary teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience including at Cognita institutions. I hold an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I also completed teacher training in Brazil, where I currently teach Cambridge IGCSE Economics, Business Studies, Global Perspectives, and English at a private international high school.
I specialise in Business English and Travel English, and I also help students prepare for the IELTS and TOEFL examinations.
My teaching methodology combines structured Cambridge-focused learning with real-world communication and critical thinking. I aim to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and academically rigorous, helping students develop confidence, fluency, and the skills needed for exams, university, and international environments.
Having lived and travelled across multiple countries, I bring a global perspective into the classroom and adapt lessons to each student’s goals, personality, and learning style. I believe students learn best when lessons feel relevant, dynamic, and connected to real life.
