About Sebastian
Hi! My name is Sebastian, born and raised in Beijing, China. I'm currently a business student at NYU. I attended an international high school in Beijing where I met lots of international friends, so I'm very familiar with American culture. Guess that's one of my advantages. My mother language is Chinese and I speak fluent English with years of studying abroad experience and a 117/120 TOEFL score. I love to go clubbing and doing sports during my free time, so I promise you classes won't be boring.

Teaching Method: I employ an interactive and communicative approach to teach Chinese with a focus on speaking. Through role-playing, dialogues, and practical exercises, I help students actively engage in conversations on trending topics and develop their speaking skills.
Lesson Plan: Each lesson includes a warm-up activity, introduction of new vocabulary and grammar, interactive exercises for speaking practice, and a recap with feedback. The structure ensures a comprehensive and effective learning experience.
Unique Qualities: I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to express themselves in Chinese. While familiar with American culture, I'll adapt my teaching style to individual preferences and bridge language gaps with fluency in English and Chinese.
Target Audience: My lessons accommodate students at all levels, from beginners to intermediate learners. University students, professionals, and anyone interested in Chinese language and culture can benefit from tailored instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
