About Mots

Learning is how the future begins.
I’ve had a desire to teach for as long as I can remember,
I have had good and bad experiences with teachers: teachers who were there to grow the confidence of students and those that stomped on it.
It breaks my heart to see people give up on subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science because of teachers…
This has discouraged me to the point where I want to do something about it through encouraging others to take on complex subjects, not because they are easy but because they are challenging.

Teaching puts me in a position where I get to challenge myself to challenge others and exercise my faith that we both overcome our challenges together and take delight in the glory and reward of hard work.

About the lesson

Hands on Learning:
- Focuses on students problem areas (mainly)
- Creates effective learning systems to digest and remember syllabus content
- Explores various resources to develop a deeper understanding of topics
- Builds from the bottom up by improving students ability and confidence to answer questions for each topic
- Revision through cue cards and weekly quizzes

Mots has a way of making solving complicated maths problems easy to apply. I have watched her over the years tutor peers from primary to secondary/high-school education level with confidence. Enabling those that she tutors achieve improved understanding, application and appreciation for mathematics.
