About Ajay

I am an IB Diploma candidate high school student. I am very familiar with state and AP standards, and I am able to relate to students quite well. I've scored 5s on AP Calculus BC/AB, AP Precalculus, and AP Physics and have a strong grip over mathematical foundations. As your tutor, I will focus on developing mathematical foundations, making math fun, and ensuring you get A's in your classes and 5's on your AP exams. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

I primarily utilize a concept and problem based approach. First I will teach a concept and then allow the student to attack the problem. This will allow the student to develop their own solving strategies before I share my own.

I can teach a full course if necessary or I can specifically teach units, concepts, and problems.

Lessons are primarily for middle and high schoolers taking math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, or calculus. I can also teach math related subjects such as physics.

I've known Ajay since the 6th grade; we went to the same middle school. I appreciate how patient he is while giving me lessons and how determined he is that I actually learn the material. Once in 10th grade, before a final for geometry, I knew none of the work. With only 2 lessons, I was able to squeeze in an A on that test.

Ajay tutored me in middle school and helped me get an A in algebra. He also tutored me in high school, and I got an A in geometry. I didn't like math before he tutored me, but he showed me it can be really fun.
