About Carys
A* student in English, History and Mathematics with offers from Cambridge, Durham, LSE and UCL to read history.
I have a wide experience base around English literature and language; having written research papers and won essay competitions in formal English and History settings, I have gained much transferable experience in what is expected of students and can provide avenues for those wishing to take their studies wider.
I began by successfully but informally tutoring GCSE students after comfortably attaining two A*s with AQA at GCSE, and expanded to helping second language friends with SAT preparation and resolution writing in the European Youth Parliament.
Alongside success at student level, my broad spectrum of extracurricular knowledge from French to Russian literature injects a love for the subject into the exam process, making the expected turn into interest to exchange passes for success.
