About Imogen
I’ve been in your shoes - from the stress of the UCAT, to choosing strategic university choices, to facing MMI and panel interviews. Having sat the UCAT twice (both times scoring the top 1%), attended 8 medical interviews, and received multiple offers for medicine, I now tutor students through the same process.
I began Graduate Medicine at Cambridge in September 2025, and I’m taking on a small number of students to support with applications and interviews. I am taking on a few students over Summer 2026 whilst I am on placement.

I offer support for every stage of the application:
UCAT preparation – we cover strategies that helped me score in the top 1% twice.
Personal statement guidance – how to structure, refine, and showcase your experiences without just listing them. I offer personal statement reviews with a session to go through suggested edits and improvements.
Interview coaching – realistic MMI/panel practice and feedback to help you show the qualities medical schools are assessing.
Application strategy – advice on choosing the right schools for your profile (whether home/international, undergraduate/graduate medicine, etc.)

I am at medical school with a busy schedule over summer, so I am taking on a few students and then closing this advert.

Perfect! Very friendly
Perfect! I’m so grateful for Tutor Imogen and all the help she gave me with my UCAT and MMI prep. She was super understanding, patient, and always went out of her way to make sure I felt confident and prepared. She explained things really clearly and gave me loads of useful tips that made a huge difference.
Thanks to her, I got a great UCAT score and even secured a med school offer! I honestly couldn’t have done it without her support. If you’re looking for a tutor who really cares and knows her stuff, I’d 100% recommend her!- It was a pleasure tutoring Malaika for the UCAT and medical school interviews. She was incredibly dedicated, always well-prepared for sessions, and highly self-aware of the areas she needed to improve. Her determination to succeed was evident and I'm thrilled that her hard work paid off - I hope you enjoy medical school, it is well deserved!Imogen's response :
Perfect! Imogen was an incredible tutor! She provided amazing strategies that I was able to implement directly into my UCAT exam. She was flexible, supportive, and really helped me feel confident going into the test. Imogen was always available and reliable, both during our sessions and through digital communication. I couldn't have asked for a better tutor to guide me through the process!

Imogen has been the most wonderful tutor for me throughout year 1 of uni when I had to battle with statistics and maths; I have never found maths easy. I have found that lecturers often go too fast in class and that I miss concepts entirely and need a more visual approach. Imogen is patient and takes all the time needed to allow me to understand. She will try a variety of approaches including diagrams (visual techniques) and comparisons to real life situations to enable me to picture the process that can get me to the solution. As maths is not the most visual of subjects, this technique has enabled me to grasp concepts I never thought I was capable of. As a result, I was so happy to receive a first in my statistics module and close to a first in my maths module at Uni (something I never thought I could get at the beginning).
Imogen is the ideal tutor for any student and I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with numbers and needs some calming maths encouragementView more recommendations

#Accessibility and reduced rates#
I know medicine and dentistry are underrepresented professions, and financial privilege can make a huge difference in accessing resources like UCAT and interview tutoring. While my £40/hr rate reflects my expertise as a two-time top 1% UCAT scorer and Cambridge medical student, I want to help level the playing field.
If you're eligible for free school meals or facing financial hardship, I may offer a reduced rate on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out with a brief message about your circumstances—I trust as a prospective medical/dental student you will be honest and show integrity, and discounts are at my discretion.
