About Elara

I am a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I studied History of Art, and Spanish and Russian. I currently work as a librarian at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Working in an art history environment has strengthened my knowledge of current research and academic trends in the arts and humanities, aiding my ability to tutor to an advanced level.

About the lesson

My teaching method focuses primarily on building confidence and skills, rather than overloading a student with information to learn by rote. By doing this, the student can apply what they have learnt in my class throughout their academic career and to a wide range of subjects.
