About Jai
I conducted my thesis project comparing older adult dancers and older adult aerobic exercisers to understand which activity may provide a greater cognitive reserve in the domain of executive functioning. In pursuing this thesis project, I learned how to conduct a literature review and identify a research gap. I also acquired new skills, such as learning how to collect data remotely through Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) and present research in an accessible format. I have also assisted in the recruitment of participants and helped in modifying the research ethics board application. I am comfortable learning new technology and inputting or reviewing data from online databases.
