About Raphael
Students like my teaching style and usually come back for more. I try to keep it fun and easy so kids learn and stay engaged. I taught myself geometry in the amount of time it took to pick up the book and tutor it to someone one summer. They got an A, and I simultaneously kind of memorized the book. I’m weird like that. I teach online using zoom and sharing screen. Students often guide me through the problems so I can spot their errors and correct them. My lectures and explanations are clear and concise, and easy to follow so students at any level can understand. I memorized the books so I can recall formulae and concepts without having to use reference material. This streamlines sessions, and makes me a very efficient tutor, which saves you time and money.

Perfect! Raphael put a lot of care into teaching our child during the first trial lesson. He was kind and attentive to our child’s level, and he spent well over an hour making sure she was comfortable and engaged.
- I tutored a free hour with Sophia, the 3rd grade daughter of the Youn’s. Sophia is learning to memorize her multiplication tables. She was able to learn the 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s during our session. It was a successful lesson and she appeared to have fun being quizzed on her multiplication and being able to recall the answers by memory. Even if her parents choose to use another tutor, it was an honor to teach her and rewarding to help. Thank you!Raphael's response :
