About Nurjan

I have two great passions- nature and teaching, so much so that I have made both of these my profession. With all of us feeling the effects of the pandemic and the world in so many crises, now, more than ever, learning better ways of how we manage our environment is vital. Simple gardening is not just a hobby. It calms the mind and heals the soul. It's about putting good food on the table, making use of practices that heal the soil and bringing the bees back. It can be something you do for you or that serves others. This is a subject close to my heart. Gardening can make the world a better place. If this speaks to you, book a lesson with me.

About the lesson

During our first free lesson I find out more about you and what you would like to accomplish. I finish the lesson with a sample lesson that's unique to you.
Follow up lessons are based on our initial consultation.
Time is a precious commodity. This way I home in on what you need, to get you to where you want to be, in record time.
I offer a number of courses and lesson types.
My first lesson type is Uniquely you. It is designed to build on your current knowledge and take you to the next level.
I also offer a Basic Garden course that equips you to garden with confidence and success no matter how little you think you know. Everyone CAN garden and I will guide you every step of the way.
In the Design your Garden course you learn how to combine the expertise of gardening with design so that your garden is both beautiful and functional. You can even landscape or garden in a tiny space. I'll show you how.
In the Healing practices course you learn how to reduce your carbon footprint, heal the environment, permaculture techniques, how to attract life back into the garden and more.

There are English teachers and there is Nurjan, who teaches us much more than just a language.
Being her student was the best possible choice. For sure.

Zahra Murni

She helped me with vegetable, herb, and ornamental gardening. My favourite parts were learning how to make cuttings of different kinds of plants and how much shade and sunlight different plants like. My garden is looking better than ever and I'm adoring using my home-grown vegetables and herbs in my food.
