About Quanita

Quanita has been a professional dancer and dance teacher for 8 years, having performed at events like Pride Month, the IPL in India, The 7's Rugby World Cup, as well as in various commercials, movies, and short films. Quanita aims to combine her dance expertise with a focus on mind-body awareness to help students manage their emotions and external environment effectively.

Her deep cultural awareness is supported by an Anthropology degree acquired from UCT.

About the lesson

Hip Hop
Dive into the infectious beats of hip-hop culture and master the art of urban dance. Groove to the rhythm, learn jaw-dropping moves, and express yourself with confidence. From popping and locking to freestyling, I'll guide you through the fundamentals and help you create your own signature style.

🩰 Contemporary 🩰
Embrace the fluidity of contemporary dance and discover the power of storytelling through movement. Explore emotions, connect with your inner self, and learn to express your feelings through graceful and innovative choreography. Together, we'll explore the boundaries of dance as an art form.

What sets me apart?
My teaching philosophy revolves around holistic growth. Both dance styles share the same core principles of body awareness, rhythm, and creativity. By immersing yourself in these diverse genres, you'll not only improve your dancing skills but also boost your overall confidence, fitness, and artistic expression
