About James
I am very passionate about helping people succeed. I love to see people achieve what they set out to do and get to those next stages in their lives.
I have a lot of experience within the field of biology/life sciences. I studied it at GCSE, A-Level and then completed a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I have professional experience working in NHS labs, I have been a Laboratory Manager at Oxford University and Prenetics where I managed and mentored dozens of scientists. I now work in London for a company based out of San Francisco focussing mainly on cancer research but also covering a number of different fields.
I really think I can help young biologists achieve their potential both academically and professionally. I could not think of a better reward than watching you succeed.

I have biology mentoring experience, and a lot of coaching experience. I have talked to the Biology Society at my old school. However, I have no teaching experience or qualifications.
I would say I suit 1 on 1 teaching, probably looking at around 30 minutes to an hour lessons. I don't think a student can be productive after an hour of teaching.
More than happy to help with GCSE, A-Level or undergraduate biology (my efficacy for undergraduate biology teaching would likely depend on topics/modules). In addition, I have managed a number of labs and recruited for many roles when doing this, so I can help with career guidance and professional techniques too.
