About Rachel
CELTA-certified Native Texan and political science graduate with certificate in International Relations. I have been an English-as-Second-Language Instructor overseas as well as domestically. I currently recruit and support international academic and international ballet students through study abroad-opportunity homes within the U.S.
I have developed and taught lessons to very young students all the way to retirees. I am looking to assist young or business professionals gain fluency at this time.

I was born in the U.S. and I have taught ESL around the world. I use real life application such as coffee-shop ordering practice and grocery store shopping trips to help students grasp relevant knowledge. I focus on native intonation, building relevant vocabulary, and learning American idioms as a way to also understand American culture more. I do a mix of PowerPoint & conversation practice in order to help you gain confidence in speaking English. I make gentle corrections during the lesson.
Every lesson is individualized based on your specific skill level and need. I offer ESL lessons in-person and virtually! Reach out to see if we would be a good fit.
