About Niamh

Hi, my name is Niamh and I understand how it feels to learn a language, so i can empathise with you and create a supportive environment.
I am a very patient person, and can motivate you in your learning.
I am passionate about the English language and committed to helping you achieve your learning goals.
I believe learning a language creates many opportunities in life, and as a teacher, i would like to help students reach those opportunities.

About the lesson

I am a strong believer in the communicative approach, that effectively learning a language is best learnt through communicating rather than a lecture style lesson. I focus on real-life conversations and functional language to ensure that you can confidently have conversations with native speakers.
Each lesson will be personalised to your needs and interests to ensure that you are fully motivated.
I use a range of materials especially authentic materials ( books, articles, songs, podcasts, short stories, role-plays ) and also additional grammar and vocabulary exercises.
I can provide one-to-one lessons and group lessons online.
