About ALICIA
I held a Ph.D. in Chemistry and I taught more than 3000 students at Palm Springs High School over 18 years. I also taught community college and college classes. My students obtained very good grades in the classes and performed very well in state tests. Students who pursue science related-careers did very well in their chemistry classes.

I have taught regular, honors, AP, college and SAT Chemistry for 18 years at Palm Springs High School. I strived to help the students understand basic concepts and to apply them to solve practical and theoretical problems.
Chemistry, although challenging for many students, relies on a few important concepts the students need to master to be successful in any chemistry class.
As a tutor, I listen to my students and I guide them to strengthen their weak areas so that they can realize their own potential. I prefer my lessons to be student's centered, with an active student participation and extensive practice.
