About Lucy
Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m from the UK. I have a degree in Education and a 198 hour TEFL certificate, and I have over two years of experience teaching English in South Korea as well as experience working in an English summer school in the UK. I've worked with learners of all ages, but I especially enjoy supporting adults in building confidence with spoken English for everyday life, work, or IELTS. I enjoy the connection that comes with teaching and the joy of watching a student steadily improve. I aim to create relaxed, engaging lessons that help you advance naturally and feel good about your progress.

I’m a TEFL certified tutor with over 2 years of experience teaching children, teens and adults at all levels, but my lessons are geared towards adult learners. My lessons will use a textbook as a guide, but the focus is always on natural conversation and real-life speaking skills. I also help students prepare for IELTS, in particular, the speaking section. Lessons are relaxed and personalised to suit your goals, whether you want to feel more confident chatting in English or work towards a specific goal.
