About Jessica
I am a certified elementary teacher with 15 years of experience in the classroom and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I currently teach first grade and have spent my career helping young learners build strong foundations in reading, writing, and comprehension.
I especially enjoy working with struggling readers and students who need extra support to feel successful. I understand that learning to read is not always easy, and I focus on creating a calm, structured, and encouraging environment where students can grow at their own pace.
My goal is to help students not only improve their skills, but also gain confidence in themselves as learners.

Hi, I’m a certified elementary teacher with over 15 years of experience in the classroom and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I specialize in helping early readers and struggling students build confidence, close reading gaps, and finally feel successful in school.
I understand how stressful it can be when a child is struggling with reading, especially when they’re capable but just need the right approach. I focus on patience, consistency, and targeted instruction that meets each student where they are.
