About Michela
I am a 32-year-old girl from Italy, where I graduated in Interpreting and Translation studies in 2010. I am a qualified CELTA ESL/EFL teacher (English as a Foreign/Second Language). My first teaching experience was as private tutor in Italy. I then moved to Kazakhstan, in central Asia, and taught English there to children and adults for 1 year. It was a memorable experience! I went back to Italy and was ready to leave again for a new teaching experience in Vietnam, when I decided to stay and teach at a local language school in my home town. I taught English there for about two years, also working occasionally as tour guide for American tourist companies.
I am currently doing a Master of Arts in Linguistics at Newcastle University, occasionally teaching English via Skype and also working as interpreter and translator.
