About Riya

I am a certified English teacher with B. Ed and M.A. in English done from India. I worked as an Assistant PG teacher for 5 years in a government school in India. Now I provide online tuition to students all across India. I always inspire and motivate my students to give themselves challenges and overcome those, thereby trying to be a little better every day in different areas than what they are today. I always teach my students to focus on small goals daily to reach ultimately the biggest goal in their life. Apart from being a teacher, I am a born-student too, who loves to learn along with her students.

I always focus on customizing my teaching methodology as per the individualized needs and understanding of my students. Teaching every minute detail of grammar, writing and comprehension is my forte. I prioritize conceptual understanding of each topic as well as hands-on practice. I believe in chapter-wise tests and evaluation system to weigh my students' learning and progress. I have 10 years plus dedicated experience in working with students from grade 1-12 of different curricula like WBBSE, ICSE, CBSE and Canadian curriculum. I encourage my students to get involved in the teaching-learning process and be an active part of the whole session.
